Online workshop: Andean braidings, tassels and beading

The activity will introduce three techniques belonging to Andean textile art: cordage, bicolor pompoms and tassels.
The public will discover how to make an Andean braid of medium difficulty of 8 strands and 4 colors, will learn how to make a braid of initial difficulty of 4 strands and 2 colors, and will also learn how to make tassels. In addition, the embarrilado technique will be taught and a textile object of utilitarian type will be elaborated.
Aimed at: Over 16 years old, with ability to concentrate and memorize sequences, manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
