The Municipality of Viña del Mar invites residents and visitors to discover the history of Viña del Mar through its Heritage Routes program.
This initiative free of charge and with prior registrationis developed by the Department of Tourism and proposes to the participants to live the experience of walking paying attention to the natural, cultural and patrimonial history of three emblematic sectors of the commune, such as Cerro Castillothe Santa Inés Cemetery and the Quinta Vergara Park.
During these winter vacations 2022, the routes will run from Wednesday to Friday, with a daily departure at 3:00 pm. On Saturdays, meanwhile, departures will take place simultaneously at 11:00 am.
The Heritage Routes are as follows:
Cerro Castillo Route
Wednesdays in July: 3:00 p.m. / Saturdays in July: 11:00 a.m.

Historic Center Route of the Santa Inés Cemetery

- Grove Allende Family - Salvador Allende
- Mayors of Viña del Mar: Manuel Ossa, Juan Magalhaes, Gastón Hamel, Gustavo Fricke and Juan Andueza.
- Illustrious neighbors: Teodoro Von Schroeders, Gustavo Wulff, Adolfo Ibáñez, Constantino Ambrosoli.
- Institutional vaults: CRAV, religious congregations, mutual benefit societies, unions and social clubs.
Quinta Vergara Park Route
