Located in a central sector of the city, Caleta Abarca beach borders the Sheraton Miramar Hotel to the north and the Recreation sector to the south. It is located in front of Cerro Castillo and the traditional Flower Clock, configuring – thus – one of the most important tourist centers in Viña Mar.

This spa has high attendance throughout the year due to its waters suitable for bathing, its urban equipment and attributes as a place for a walk, which is enhanced by the large presence of gardens and green areas around it.

As for its history, it should be noted that in 1883 the workshop of Lever, Murphy & Co., a pioneer company in the metal-mechanic industry in Chile, was located there. Later, in 1938, it began to develop tourist functions.
